For those of you that don't already have Audible, like me, they have a deal of 3 months at $4.95 per month. I guess you get one book per month. I've got two books on my list, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership and Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood.

I am up to Chapter 7 in AHL and am reporting that it's wonderful. I have not reachrd the Trump part or even the recent events parts, but it's just so interesting, well written, and well read by Comey himself that I want to recommend it. All those 5 stars aren't just anti Trump stars.

Bnz | 84 comments I tried several audiobooks, and I simply can't get "into them" - the interpretation too often clashes with mine, with my impression of author's intent.
If I spent inordinate time commuting, perhaps I would give it another try...

I try audiobooks from our library now and then, but also find I prefer the ebook version. The few exceptions are ones read by the author, i.e. Becoming by M. Obama, A Higher Loyalty by J. Comey, and The Martian. Those are the three that I've finished. Some ebooks I want to read published by Amazon will not be available from the library because Amazon wont release the rights or something. There's some kind of suit against this action going on. Another thing, I've gotten so use to ebooks, I can't seem to go back to DTB.

Heh, a year or so ago I ran into a positive review on something by Greg Benford, and recalled I have the hardcover edition. I dug it out and started reading. After 20 pages I started wondering "how the heck did I read these clumsy things ?!?", reached for my Voyage, bought a Kindle version, and continued reading. Aaah, much better!
