Song of Ice and Fire series Read ALong! discussion

Hey everyone,
how is everyone going along? It seems like some are already on the sequel, so I think we should set a date to all discuss it together! Maybe a google chat or something. I am mostly free weekends so we could set up one Sat or Sun! Again, let me know how everyone's doing!

I'm now half way through Clash of Kings so it would be good to discuss GoT and get some interesting viewpoints

I have just started clash of kings. Unfortunately I head off to school the 15th so my time is limited :(

I am also about half way into Clash of Kings.

Paul, how much do you typically read each day?

the weeks i work days 4am to 6pm i don't read much at all.

the weeks i work nights 6pm to 8am, if the night is slow i can read several chapters a night.

I don't read on my weekends as I am catching up on chores.

I am kind of a slow reader about 15, maybe 20 pages an hour or so.

Haha yeah thank god for punctuation. And I am a 1/3 of the way through "A Feast For Crows" and wow, it is quite slow. Don't get me wrong, I still like it it's just there is nothing going on! One WHOLE chapter about a boat ride for one character! Just saying

I am about 1/2 into Storm of Swards as well

WOW, just WOW. it is very well written and has some of the best chapters i have read. not just in this series but in most books i have ever read.

How are you all coming along on GOT read? i took a break to read the Stand again since they are remaking the series.
