1. Notice how I put Deities, and not gods and goddesses. This is to discourage people from assuming that their characters are the only beings that represent their ideals, and beliefs. This means that you are allowed to make as many deities of the same thing. However, in the hopes of keeping the group balanced, please make at least one human for every deity you make, and vice versa.
2. Yes there are gods and goddesses, in complete control of the ideals, beliefs, and things that the deities stand for. The gods and goddesses are NPCs and can only be mentioned, not roleplayed.
3. Deities are powerful beings, but they’re not unkillable, and their not uninjureable. IE, you can take damage, and but you can also deal great damage as well.
4. The war has been going on for a thousand years, so none of your character can have remembered when it began, save for a select few. You must ask permission before you can make a deity who remembers, and humans don’t live that long anyway.
5. Humans have an average life span of about 80-90 years. Deities have an average life span of 250 years. However, deities age slowly. An 18 year old deity would look as young as a child, because to the deities, they are children, not teens. Teenage deities are about 70-80 years old. Deities could live to as old as 350, and even 400 years old, if it wasn’t for the war.
6. All able bodied deities, are drafted into the military, when hitting the young age of 80 years old, and are required to fight for the survival of the race.
7. All able bodied humans, due to the nature of the humans, are given the choice to join the military, or not, at the age of 23.
8. Yes, you can have a deity living in the human lands. And yes, you can have a human living in the deity lands. You can also have a human living in the human lands, but be sympathetic to the deities, and a deity living in their lands, being sympathetic to the humans cause as well.
