I've got such conflicting feelings on this one! In some ways, it felt objectively better than Furthermore, but... I didn't like it as much.

And I know I'm an incredible wimp and all, and many children are made of sterner stuff than I am, but I think if I'd read this as a kid I would have been traumatized for life.
