So I'm going to second Picture of Dorian Gray, also throw in Lady Susan (it's the only Austen I haven't read) and the Count of Monte Cristo.

Oooh Lady Susan sounds great, I didn't realise she'd written shorter works like that as well! I've been wanting to re-read The Count of Monte Cristo :) Love that one.
