I still haven't picked up Little Women from the library yet! Hoping to do that this week. Has anyone started reading yet? Has anyone read it before? :)

I started reading it! I’m on chapter 3 now and apart from some new vocabulary, I really have to wonder about a writing choice re: the play in Ch. 2 when you get there.

I'm already reading the second volum and the story is just so cute, i'm really enjoying it so far

I'm listening to this on audio book and it's really great, totally bringing back memories of my mother reading this to me and my sister when were very young.
Curious if people are reading little women / good wives or little women?

I'm a couple of chapters into it and really enjoying it, I wish I had've read it as a child as well as I would've loved it! I think my copy is just Little Women :)

I just have to share that this is probably the sweetest book I’ve ever read 💕😂

That's what i've been thinking! I was definitely not expecting it. It's so...comforting.

I've started it and it to be honest it wasn't capturing my attention until the last pages of the 2nd chapter. The play sequence mentioned above was a little too long in my opinion. To those further into the book, it is more heavy on descriptiobs or dialogue?

More heavy on dialogue I would say, though definitely a bit of both :) Agree, the play sequence was kind of odd haha

I’ve been meaning to pick the book up all month but it’s been one of those months that just flew by... oh look! We’re half way through the year already. Do you get what I mean. We are almost at the sixth month and I’ve hardly read half of my reading challenge of 50 books. Will definitely still pick little women up. May just be in a month or two when I have time to pick it up.

Hahaha I know just how you feel Kim! It's scary. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it anyway :)
