Somalia - Black Mamba Boy by Nadifa MohamedTranslated memoir/autobiography - My Invented Country: A Nostalgic Journey Through Chile by Isabel Allende
I second "The Story of San Michele" for translated memoir and "People of the Deer for Nunavut" and propose 'Desert Flower' by Waris Dirie for Somalia: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...Although Black Mamba Boy sounds great as well.
