Disney Song Challenge

Most of us grew up watching the amazing Disney classics, and of course singing along all the great songs in them. I've seen a lot Disney inspired challenges in the group, but not one was about this (in my opinion) vital part of every Disney movie – because, let's face it, they are musicals. Singing along Cinderella, Aladdin, Ariel and Aurora I've first learned English, and later practiced my vocal abilities. If you love these songs as much as I do, join me in this challenge and make your playlist :D.

You can tick of the songs from your playlist in two ways:

1. Word for Word: find a book that has the same word in its title as the title of the song that you're “listening to”

ex. Circle of Life – The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult

One book per song is enough for the easy level. If you want to make the challenge last longer you can find a corresponding title for as many words as you can.

2. Song Meaning: read a book in which one of the characters has a situation similar in to the part of the movie the song was sung.

Strangers Like Me – read a book in which the main character is very brainy, a bookworm and has a great thirst for knowledge (student or scientist, etc)

Colors of the Wind – read a book in which the main character loves nature or is very spiritual

A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes – read a book in which the main character has a wish list or a bucket list, or in which the main character's dreams come true

Reflection – read a book in which the main character struggles with his/her identity

Be Our Guest – read a book in which the main character is kidnapped or imprisoned or has to stay somewhere but his “jailor” turns out to be nice

I See the Light – read a book with a roadtrip situation, or in which the main charater changes the way he/she thinks about the world after he/she falls in love

Someday My Prince Will Come – read a book in which the main characters are separeted or the heroine is waiting for the hero to come to save her or in which the heroine is waiting for her Prince Charming

Once Upon a Dream – read a book in which dreams are very important – anything goes – from life goals to soldiers with PTSD nightmares to psychics who dream about the future events

Can You Feel the Love Tonight – read a book in which two best friends fall in love

I've seen a lot Disney inspired challenges in the group, but not one was about this (in my opinion) vital part of every Disney movie – because, let's face it, they are musicals. Singing along Cinderella, Aladdin, Ariel and Aurora I've first learned English, and later practiced my vocal abilities.
