The Gods of Gotham discussion

This story takes all the way back in New York, 1845. Timothy Wilde (main character) is a bartender who, as a child, lost his parents in a fire, He suffered minor burns on his face and is left with scars. He saves money for years to marry his childhood dream girl. Later on Timothy’s older brother, Valentine has given him a job in the police department. In just 3 weeks in the job Timothy has found something horrible. He found 19 dead children in some woods and decides to put on a crime investigation. His partner Faye, helps him throughout the book. Later on he marries her and the book ends from there.
In this book Timothy runs into big stuff which makes him feel depressed. His partner Faye, does everything to put him on track with the investigation. I can relate to this because i have lost a relative who impacted my life. My grandpa did everything to make me feel like myself again.
The Author did well on this book by putting very well written details to make this book good.Timothy is one of my favorite characters. My favorite part was when Timothy was trying to get this woman to marry and he had crazy ideas to do it.
I would recommend this book to anyone. I've read 100%.
