Jay sat in the shallow part of the water, watching the water.
Swimming in the deeper water, Lysandra was surprised to see another mermaid. She popped back underwater
Jay heard a bit of a splash and slipped underwater to see what it was.
Lysandra saw the mermaid go under and she quickly swam away
Jay smiled slightly and followed after her.
Lysandra his behind some seaweed, looking through the gaps at her
Jay wiggled her tail slightly, her blue hair swirling around in the water.
She slowly peeled out. “Hi” she said shyly
"Hello," she answered, her hair swirling around to hide her face.
“Are you new here?” She asked curiously
"Yeah," she answered shyly. "my name is Jay."
“I’m Lysandra” Arroyo swam out from behind her. “And this little guy is Arroyo” she smiled, patting the dumbo octopus on the head
"Sweet," she said cautiously, revealing her face.
She smiled at Jay. “It’s Nice to meet you”
"It's nice to meet you as well," she answered.
“Do you know any other mermaids? Have you ever been to the ocean?” She asked curiously
"Yeah, I used to live in the ocean," she answered with a smile.
"Really? Me too! I lived in the big city, what about you?" she asked, swishing her tail
"I lived somewhat close to it," she answered, smiling.
“Do you like it here? It’s so different isn’t it!” Lysandra grinned
"Well, it is very nice," she said with a tentative grin of her own.
“So you like it?” She asked curiously
She smiled, "I have a brother too," she said, eager to talk.
"A brother? Did he come with you? The more the merrier!" she laughed
"No, he's at home," she said with a little sigh.
"Oh. Do you miss him?" she asked
"No, not that home!" she said with a smile.
"Oh? Which home?" she asked. She liked Jay, her smile was contagious.
"I moved here, remember?" she said. amused.
"He moved here with you?! Thats two mermaids and a merman!" she spun in excitement "THIS IS AMAZING!!"
She grinned, "I mean, he's too little to stay on his own."
She tilted her head, "what do you mean? He's fine."
"Even though you moved somewhere totally new?" she asked
((oh sorry I didn't see the comment....))"Oh, he's a little disappointed but he likes it here! I think."
