Emily was standing by the shore. She was looking out over the waves.

James was out on the beach, doing flips and what not.

Emily looked over to see him. She ran right to him

James was about to spring into a backflip but someone ran into him. "Oof! Hey!"

""Sorry. I have some bad news."

"Ummm...what?"

"Ares, Leader of the camp, said we can't see each other anymore."

"Why?"

"'No you stay here today. The world outside of the camp is very dangerous."

"How can I be dangerous? I mean, I'm just an Apollo kid with some mad archery skills..."

"I don't know. Ars just so strick. I'm not even suppose to be here."

"Oh...well maybe you should get back. I mean, I don't want to be the cause for Ares' wrath.

"Yah your right. How about we meet up tonight?"

"Sure."

"See you tonight."

"Okay."

James scuffed the sand with his bare foot, waiting for Emily to show up...if she was going to.

Emily came running towards him.

"Ah, there you are... I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up."

"I had to sneak out."

"Oh yeah. Why did you want to see me again?"

"This is the last time we might see each other. Plus my friend said you like me? Is that true?"

"Umm...well..." James blushed and looked at the sand.

"Well. Do you or not?"

"I..umm...well...I..." He was at a loss for words, especially being directly confronted about having a crush on Emily by her.

"Your making the silence awkward!"

"Are you okay?"

"Okay...yes I do." He blurted out, blushed, then turned away.

"It's okay. I like you too. You know I wish I dint have to live with Ares."

"You like me too?"

"Yah who wouldn't?!"

"Really? Quite a few people don't enjoy my presence, to put it that way."

"Well they just don't even understand you. Do they?"

"Umm not really." He smiled.

"I wish i could come and live with you!"

"Well...do you like me enough for me to kiss you?"

"Yes!"

James leaned in to kiss Emily.

((What if we had Ares running in and start a war?))

As Emily leaned in to kiss James Ares came flying out of nowhere. He grabbed Emily and dragged her back.

"What the heck dude! What's your deal!" James shouted at Ares

Sebastian and Brandon raced down the hill to the beach. "We heard all the yelling and went to come see what was happening." Sebastian explained.

"Well that dude over there just took my new girlfriend!" James complained

"Well..." Brandon summoned up a wave that came crashing down over Ares.

"Thank you for that. That was very appreciated." Ares turned to Emily. "What did I tell you? You knew better than to leave the camps premises. Let's go your in deep trouble."

Emily looked at James, "Sorry."

"Emily lets go!"

James squared his shoulders. "No, you are not taking her."

"Yes I am."

"No your not."

"What are you going to do to stop me?"

"Well, I have a child of Poseidon behind me and I can pray to my dad for him to show up.
