The picture shows how Auggie likes to dress up to hide his face so he can blend in with the other kids so he will seem normal. He wants to be like all the other kids.
During this part in the book I felt the worst for Auggie because he did enjoy Halloween so much but for the reason that he wanted to hide his face.
