fawn walked out of the tac room carrying a saddle and reins. He walked over to kipper stall.

" how are you doing, boy? " she asked. Kipper snorted and backed way so fawn could come in. Fawn pet him with soft gentle strokes. She pulled the reins over his head and walked him out. She tied him up by the cleaning room and got his saddle. She set the saddle down and got the brush she started to brush his long mane and tail. Then she cleaned his hooves. She greased them to. After she finished brushing him off she hosed his legs, United him and took him out to the paustre she closed the gate and went back to the stables she set the saddle on a bench and walked over to Tisha stall. She took the reins leading her out. She cleaned her took her out to the paustre taking the saddle with her. She placed the saddle in kipper and ride him out the gate closing it behind her. She walked him out to the ring she started with a walk, then a trot, now a gallop they were running around the ring. Kipper increased his speed then fawn slowed him back to a walk. " great job" she said rubbing his head.they went back to the field. She did the same with tisha. She took both of them back to the stalls. She gave them each a carrot. Searching there ears.

The next day when she took them out she saw something in the pasture, a foal! It was all brown. She ran over the horses trotting behind her once she got them inside she closed the gate. " who are you little fella? " she asked. The horse only reply was a sneeze. " come let's get you into a stall . She brought him to Trisha stall.
" lay down" she Said soothingly. The horse did as it was told and later down. " I will be back later"she whispered. After she ran around the ring with the horses she checked on the goal , he was trying to reach the hay.

Colton strolled in, carrying a bag of horse feed with Baze on his shoulder. "Did someone order horse feed?" He grinned.

" that would be me" fawn said . She took it . ?
" come here" she said walking over to Trisha stall.

Colton followed, and looked into Trisha's stall.

"I found this fella in the meadow today," said fawn proudly. pointing to the young horse.

"Do you want me to check him out?" He asked. He was a medically trained vet after all.

" yes, thank you" she replied.
" isn't he cute?" she added.

Colton stepped into the stall, and ran his hands over the foal. "Seems healthy to me!" He grinned. "And yes, he is very cute."

((could Colton and Fawn develop a relationship?))

fawn grinned. " thank you" she said again.

"Anything else I can do for you before I go back to the rescue?"

"I was wondering if I could volunteer at the rescue," she asked.

"Yes!" He realized he said that a little to enthusiastically, and blushed. "I mean, I could always use some extra help."

She laughed a little. " great" .

"Do you have time to come by now? I can drive you." He gestured towards his Ford F-150 parked in the gravel driveway.

" no, sorry"

"Oh, okay." He was a little disappointed, but there was always time in the future. "Maybe tomorrow?"

" sure, come by by 8:00 in the morning? " she said.

"Perfect! That will work!" Colton opened the door to his truck. "See you tomorrow then?" Baze flew through the truck to the passengers side, perching on the seat.
