This is the discussion thread for chapters 1-6 of First We Were IV. Please keep discussion to this section of the book. If you have not read this section, beware of spoilers!

I'm only just starting this one, read the first four chapters so far and oh my goodness it's so ominous! I am enjoying it but the tension level is pretty high so I find I can only read a chapter or two at a time. The mysterious and ominous tone is really unnerving! I think I'm not used to reading thrillers, but I'm very curious to see where this one goes.

Looking forward to hearing people's thoughts on this one!

I've finished the first 6 chapters now and wow, I can see this one is about to take off. I'm feeling much more protective of the characters now and disarmed at where things could go! Looking foward to reading more.

Really intriguing start to this book! Of course want to know more about the Goldilocks situation and I’m really intrigued what the Order of IV will entail because these bully kids SUCK. Also, the story behind the slaughterhouse was really disturbing. #yikes This book definitely has my attention in the first section so I’m excited to read more!

I am with Riley, I am super curious about the Goldilocks situation and how that plays into everything. This book has managed to make me so uncomfortable with the bullying and back story on the slaughterhouse. I am super intrigued and cannot wait to continue.
