I enjoyed learning about Isles. I can't really remember much of her in the previous 2 books but I think in this book she showed how "human" she was and not just some cold hearted medical examiner.
She didn’t appear until #2 where all she basically did was show up:)
I’m glad she had so much focus as we already knew a lot about Jane. It certainly did make her human and I feel like I know her not quite as well but enough at this stage.
I was surprised to learn she’d been married and divorced! That caught me off guard as I first thought Victor was a former colleague or ex-boyfriend.
