Welcome T.L. I hope you like it. It will be nice to have a buddy to read and discuss.
Wow, I hadn't reread this ever and I wonder why. I couldn't put it down and read it pretty much straight through today. It isn't at the top #1 of my list for PNR as Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark, with its crazy humor holds that spot. This doesn't have the humor of that thought there is a little fun, that is pretty much the difference in my like though. I love humor if it can be worked in. This has some snark but not like Nix and the girls.
I think it is the demon aspect as I usually don't get pulled by demon books. It took me a while to get to this series originally even though several people told me to try it.
I hope other decide to join and let me know how frequent they want to read/ discuss.
I'll weigh in about the actual story once someone else reads it.

Oh great. It is definitely adult PNR and main character is an Incubus, so definite sex. Still there is a really plot in there and it makes you want to know about all the other characters too. I'm glad I reread it and probably will add it to "my series that I like to reread for fun". I thought we had some forum with a title like that but don't see it. Maybe I'm confusing a different group.
I found it
Series so good you have to re-read them

I love this book. I have read book 1 and 2 and I want to get into 3. There is a TON of sex! It's about a Demon Hospital and is actually very good!
I am so in! I am leaving work early so I can get the book at my library before it closes at 5:30pm!

OK, I'm moving on to #2 since you're already through it. I don't remember what happens with Shade or what his curse is, just that he cannot fall in love?
I'm devistated my library doesn't have an E Copy. and I have read them. I remember it now. I just have to remember which library it came from!
Another nice thing with Audible is the reduced prices on bought books too. I have the one credit a month plan. Started at 3 months for price of 1 month, $14.95. I save my credit for favorites and those I cannot get from the library. Recently I've been really lucky with my favorites from the library as I put myself on the list early or recommend a title and get put to the front when they purchase it. Still the credits come in handy and I haven't closed my account like I originally thought I might.
I remember reading all these years ago - I think I may have the whole set on my KIndle. They were a great read and I did enjoy them immensely.
I finished the 2nd, Desire Unchained, and still loved it. On my first review I said I liked it better than the first but today I would say that I liked them the same pretty much.
@Norma- I misunderstood your post #6 and thought that you had read the first two now but that was from before on your first read. You really need to get to Wraith's story as it is epic. I thought the 4th and 5th could no longer compare though they were good too. How does the audiobook compare?
@Anjali- You should bring them up and do a reread with us.

I have read them before, but was like five years ago. I read book 1 and book 2, but not book 3-5. I plan to change that this summer!

I'm listening to the audiobook and the lady who reads it does a wonderful job. Wow, this book is pretty smutty but the plot has me intrigued. I like it so far.

Next is book 2. I need to complete this series!

@Norma-Looks like you finished it. Let me know when you are ready to read the next as I'm up for it anytime. I do want to read through the series.
I just had a colonoscopy and the doctor totally reminded me of Eidolon... yeah... not the time you want a hot doc.
I know, I did too. And I'm ready for Wraith's story too, when you are there.
I loved Shade's story too.

OK finished the couple and started this a little earlier than thought. Decided to move it forward.
I am reading this months BOM, but I am bringing Book 3 of Demonica on the boat with me when I leave for my cruise on Friday, so I will be offline, but right there with ya!

I just noticed that the reader of the 3rd book had a different Wraith voice, thank goodness because in book #2 his voice was horrid. The narrators are changed out on every book. In fact the narrator for the 3rd, whom I love, is Renee Raudman, who reads the Kate Daniels series. The first book's narrator was pretty good. The 2nd was just OK but I didn't like the whine of Wraith.

That is the one thing that drives me nuts: Changing narrators. I just get used to how voices are, to be able to easily distinguish who is who, but then they change and it takes a third of the book to figure out who is who, based on the vocal tones of the narrator.
That is why I live Lorelei King. She is an amazing narrator who starts from book 1 and stays with the series, so you know who everyone is, every time.

I really dislike Lorelei King's interpretation of Stephanie Plum. I had a ditzy blond with a ditzy blond attitude and voice and got the older wiser voice of Mercy Thompson. Really didn't fit and could not listen through. She does alright for Mercy but I like Holter Graham better in the Alpha & Omega series. Also I don't think she started the Plum series.

Lorelei King does an AMAZING job on the Charley Davidson Series. She also does a great job on the Lizzie & Diesel Series. She is, by far, one of my favorite readers. I have never heard the Stephanie Plum series. I do not think I can stand another 20+ book series.. Anita Blake is killing me slowly.

Yeh, I didn't realize that she did Charley Davidson. Maybe I should retry them by reading as I listened to the first 2 and never liked them. All the humor fell flat for me. We will have to agree to disagree about Lorelei as I don't love her for Mercy but have gotten used to her. I think she makes the main character older sounding. For Mercy this is OK but for Stephanie, it was off putting for me. I literally stopped the CD in my car and went to reading. She is OK when I want a seasoned older MC for her as a narrator. Would rather Renee Raudman any day. :-)
On another note, you read the Lizzie Diesel books and didn't even start Stephanie Plum? It is a spin off.

I have never read any of the Stephanie Plum books. How are the a spinoff?

From Wikipedia
I am guessing that Stephanie doesn't make any appearances?
In 2010 Evanovich published Wicked Appetite, spinning off the character Diesel from the between-the-numbers Plum books.

The Wicked series is amazing, but she only writes them every 3-5 years! I don't remember what happens from book to book when there is that much of a time gap! She needs to get back onto it!
So what Demonica are you on? I finished Wraith and ready for the last 2 of the original 5, whenever you are. Really I have quite a few to finish for this month so, next month August?
I just finished the first one, Unbound Pleasure, and I liked it. I thought it was a little soft porn, and contained a few emotional triggers. But, she's a great writer, I loved the flow and feel of the story. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was phenomenal.
I loved the first 3 brothers, the hidden ones in book 4 and 5 were good but not as good as the first 3. I am read to go to book 4 just to see if I feel the same now too.
The audio is very good. I really wish she would keep the same narrator and not the one from book 2.
Let me know when it is time for book 4.

I'm game this week or next. I am on book 4. Been waiting.
How did you like Wraith's book. Big changes and the angel, Rever will play a big role with the Horsemen and then gets his own book. So need to remember him and his actions.
Is this a reread for you?
