I’ve not ready anything by either of these authors before, but they’ve been on my “to read” list for sometime. I don’t know a lot about them or their typical genre of writing. I’m really intrigued by this selection. I am curious to see how they handle the dual authorship though. When I’ve read books with dual authors before, there has been a clear distinction of who was the lead where. Other times, they either did a really good job of partnering or one author was attached for namesake and selling purposes.

I have read a lot of their books and love them! My suspicions are that Preston handles the archaeology and mystery while Child handles any high-tech/sci-fi specifics.

I've read the second book of the Pendergrast series. I really like them and plan on continuing. They just know how to keep the story moving.
I thought it was interesting to read in the back of this book that Preston did a thousand-mile horseback journey retracing Coronado's search for the Seven Cities of Gold. Not your typical vacay. Lol!
