Sir Kay tricking King Arthur into promising him anything, and then taking his queen away -- sounds like Odysseus' sucker-pledge to fight against anyone who would take Helen from Menelaus.

And then there's Apollo and his silly pledge to young Phaethon, or Zeus' sucker pledge to Semele...
