I just started it today...18 pages in and I couldn’t keep my eyes open! I’ll pick it up again tomorrow. I’ll give it 100 pages, and if I can’t stay in it, I’ll let it go until later.

I hated it. Both the book and the movie. It was a struggle for me, but I read it all. This was in high school, and I doubt if I'd even pick it up to read again.
I first read GWTW in high school and loved it. I recently read it again about 2 yrs ago. There was so much I didn't remember about the book. And then watching the movie again made me appreciate how good the book is.
I've read it several times and vote for it most days. I think it was such an in depth look at the civil war, the feelings of the south, and well rounded characters for the most part.
