Hi everyone I am in DESPERATE need of something to read, so any and all recommendations are welcome please. I love high fantasy , fea, assassins, heroes, magic ect. Would absolutely adore something with a growing romance throughout the book, a swoon worthy romance of course* ...

You want Grace Draven :) Her
Master of Crows series is a wonder of lush, beautiful, fantasy storytelling and utterly absorbing romance. And when you're done with those, you get to start her
Wraith Kings series, which is honestly a privilege to read.
Sorry, I know I'm late chiming in here, but if you're still looking for something to read after those mentioned above (which I'll have to check out myself!)... One of my favorite series is Karen Marie Moning's Fever Series. The first book is Darkfever. It's more urban fantasy, I'd say. But it's pretty epic!
Villains by Necessity stand alone, wonderful story. The villains finally get to save the world. And so-called heroes can be every bit as selfish and self-centered as any villain, all while being admired and worshipped by all.
Elusion is the first book in Zoe Parkers Facets of Feyrie series. If you haven't read it i highly recommend. It's dark and sooo good. It'll leave you wondering what you just read. She creates the best characters that make you want to be invested, and the world building is not your typical Fae. She also wrote Cadence of Ciar, her Fate Caller series. Just as good but in a totally different way.
I'd recommend this series
where the romance is slow burn but the couple is a strong one with no teenage dramas. The series is also chock full of magic, magic users, strong friendships and action. Also
and all the spin offs in the same world. Again high in magic via the supernatural creatures and action but also high in romance. I would read all books in the correct reading order rather than just one series at a time. And lastly
which is set mainly in the fae realms and contains the same romantic pairings throughout, lots of different magical beasties and a strong female friendship throughout.
Nalini Singh= Guild Hunter series, Psy-changeling seriesPatricia Briggs= Mercy Thompson series
Ilona Andrews= Kate Daniels series, Hidden Legacy series
Chloe Neill= Chicago-land vampires
Jeaniene Frost= Night Hunter series
Lara Adrian= Midnight Breed series
Karen Marie Moning= Fever series
Gena Showalter= Lords of the Underworld series
Sherrilyn Kenyon= Dark Hunter series
J.D. Robb= In Death series (more futuristic new york)

One of my first reads into vampires was Anne Rice Vampire series. It's still one of my favorites. It's not one that is heavy on the romance or sex, but it is a fascinating character read.

Might check out the work of my "colleague," altho this is def NSFW and perhaps "harder" than what you are looking for:

His arrogance that was in contrast with his insecurity and angst was so human and, in a very quirky way, funny. I just loved that whole series.
