I've been interested in Norse Myth for a while now, so I searched Goodreads for a group and found you here.
It looks like American Gods wasn't that interesting and I don't see any recent posts, so maybe the momentum's stalled, but I thought I'd post a howdy and see.
I've always been drawn to Gaiman's way with words and I listened to this on audio while commuting. The words lulled me like jazz, but I didn't pay a lot of attention and had to refer to the plot summary on Wikipedia at times.
That said, I enjoyed it even if I wouldn't have passed a comprehension test. I also watched season one of the show, which helped my understanding as well.
Anyway, if any are up to a new book of the month, that'd be cool.
