The Warden is about being trapped and isolated in a place that is unfamiliar and a far cry from home. Told in first person so you, the reader gets to experience the horror, just as they do. It can make for an eerie read and for the faint of heart it can make toes curl.

Alice has led a life of normality up until now. As a world-famous horror author, her worst scribbles cannot compare to the nightmare she is about to embark upon. Waking up in a rundown, dim-lit, and rusted asylum, she soon finds herself trapped in a game of survival. The moment her cell door opens, she is a contestant in the horror games, where she has to outwit, outrun, and kill to stay alive. One issue that may stand in her way is that not all residents of the asylum are alive.
