Portrait in Death discussion

I decided to re-read the Death series from the beginning, and I just finished PORTRAIT. #16 I think it's my overall favorite. It's the one (Possible Spoiler) where Roarke learns about his birth mother. The characterization, emotion and depth of the scenes touched me deeper than most, and I've read thousands of romances. :-) Anyone else have a particular favorite?

I've been rereading these for a few months now and I've just finished ritual. I love Eve and Roarke, well all of them. I think my favourite is the one When Mavis has a baby and Eve is way out of her depth. So suggestions as to who should play them on TV.

Is the series going to be on TV? Or movies? I don't keep up with the celebrity world very much, but I'd be interested.
