I have had this book on my shelf for quite a while but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Would you recommend it, or is it a bit too mental for your tastes?

It reminded me a lot of how I felt reading some of the parts of Crime & Punishment. Where he’s just panicking and you get a window into the weird insane logic he’s using to justify his crazy actions.
There also weren’t any really insightful lines or paragraphs that stood out that I really loved where I could say “oh but the writing is fantastic”, it was just very, very odd and a bit uncomfortable and confusing in parts.
