I'm reading The Before Now and After Then by Peter Monn, a YA LGBT novel. Really enjoying it so far!
I finished Jonathan Hill's FAG today and it is brilliant. You can read my review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I start The Odyssey with a book group next.
I just finished Some Boys and I'm starting to read Haunted Stuff: Demonic Dolls, Screaming Skulls & Other Creepy Collectibles
I finished and reviewed Queen of Angels
I'm now reading Odds Against Tomorrow by NathanielRich a sort of Cli-Fi/Sci-Fi/Literary Fiction with wonderful prose and dark humor.

I just finished reading Sing You Home by Jody Picoult a few days ago. Well.. I wasn't impressed. Picoult actually managed to make me like the anti-gay Evangelical idiot MORE than the lesbian couple. Now that was a weird surprise! Now I'm reading The Thirteenth Tale, which I love. It's a beautifully written dark tale.
I've finished The Truth About Emily and now I'm reading The Nine Lives of Alexander Baddenfield and Slave Girl

That was the biggest problem I had with the book. I did enjoy reading about Zoe's profession as a music therapist, though.

No relation to the movie I take it.
I'm reading Dark Lover, a Valentino biography. Reluctantly concluding he probably wasn't gay--was just clueless about women and kept getting involved with lesbians.
Just finished CryoBurn. It was great to re-visit the characters from the Vorkosigan series. Starting in on Spillworthy, a young adult book by Johanna Harness.I'm also managing to stay on track with the book club's reading of The Odyssey.
Kerri wrote: "I recently finished Mrs. Stevens Hears the Mermaids Singing by May Sarton, which both touched my heart and annoyed me.I'm now reading the new [author:Sarah Waters|253..."
Might I ask how you have the new Sarah Waters, you lucky thing?! I can't wait to read it. In fact, I have just booked to see a talk with her. :)
Finishing up Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov (a very entertaining, funny book) and starting The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood. Even though I slacked off and didn't read it in time for the group read, I'll also be reading Tell the Wolves I'm Home sometime soon.
