Did you feel that the Alice Rose and Mattie Purvis abductions would somehow connect with Maura at some point? Were you able to figure it out before it was revealed?

I did know Alice Rose's kidnapping had to do with what was all going on, only because why else have the prologue? I didn't know Maura's connection with it all and to have a second killer thrown in made it a bit more complicated. So I didn't see the connection until Gerritsen all but spelled it out for me LOL.

I’ve come to expect that they will all eventually connect but I couldn’t see it for a long time.

I knew Elijah was the connection but I was missing the details.
