Reading in Maine discussion

I live in Gorham, Maine. It's not too far from Portland.

I know basically where Gorham is-my daughter had college classes on the Gorham campus.

Perhaps we can get a local book club going since so many of us are close in location. I would love to meet once a week or month-I'm open. I will be in Maine next week thru Oct.; and then back in the spring-permanently (hopefully!!)

I would love that! I'll take a look at where everyone is from and make a suggestion about location soon.

Rebecca, I just noticed your photo of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. He is one of my all time fave authors. I've read almost everything he's written. I'm assuming he's one of your faves, too.

Yes, Dollie, he is! Whenever my husband deployed, I assigned myself an author to explore, and Vonnegut was one of the first.

My first was Breakfast of Champions about 30 years ago and through the years I've continued to read as many of his books as I could find. I read by authors too. If I like them, I'll read everything they've written. One summer I read all of H.G. Wells. This summer I read all of Joe Hill's books.

I live in Raymond and would love to participate in a book club!
