I loved The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare.
I laughed all through the book. I was enchanted.

I don't think I'd finish anything before Sunday.
So here we go:

Sorry you didn't enjoy A Night to Surrender, ShoSho. I know that book has been hit/miss for some.

I have The Sea King on my Kindle but I've yet to work up the enthusiasm to read it. The first book was OK though.

I'm on the waiting list for Shelter in Place

Lauren, I'm having difficulties with HR. But this one didn't work out for me at all. I wanted a bit more story and less sex scenes.

The Sea King, well,... I loved the first one on audio the narrator was fantastic. This was the same narrator and enjoyed the audio. Unfortunatley the book should have come with trigger warning, halfway through the book (view spoiler)[ there are some very graphic and horrific scenes of sexual torture and rape. They were so bad(at least for me and on audio) that I really wanted to DNF. (hide spoiler)] plus the plot needed improvement. I still shudder when I think about it.

It was very NR and very unlike her books at the same time. I really enjoyed the audio.

I’ve been rereading Kate Daniels in preparation for #10. This month I read and . The last one is a novella that I hadn’t read before. These are all 5 or 4.5 stars.

Wow it was that good? I should check it out.

It is intense. Definitely out my comfort zone. Also, I lead the discussion of it for my brick & mortar bookclub...so I needed a review.
