Consider the character of Neville Longbottom. How do you feel about him?
- Is he treated fairly or unfairly by his grandmother?
- How do you think what happened to his parents influenced him?
- Neville is shown to be a poor student in some aspects? Why do you think that is?

I think Neville is a great character that has some unfortunate things happen to him. His parents got tortured and now live in St. Mungo’s and it’s hard for Neville to deal with that, but he’s had to face the world with a brave face every day. He doesn’t let wht happened to his parets affect him.

I love Neville with all of my heart, he is such a great character. His grandmother certainly treated him unfairly but perhaps its simply to protect him from meeting the same fate as his parents. He's definitely a very cautious character but so brave at the same time.
