I am going to just think that every time I meet a grumpy person!!!!
I wonder What would it be like growing up in a. Troupe and traveling? Mike and I decided to wait for g to be out of the house before we went on our trip but I wonder what it would have been like if we raised him that way.

Just finished chapter 10....... Haven't been reading too much Lately!
I just finished the first chapter... this is going to be GOOD! I'm already struggling with whether to clean the bathroom (what I'm supposed to be doing right now) or continuing on to another chapter.Does anyone think Kote the innkeeper is somehow related to Taborlin of the legends that the tavern friends were telling? They both seemed to have an appreciation for the importance of names.

Just finished chapter 7 (so needless to say, my bathroom is still in an abysmal state). I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that it's heading towards a straight recounting of Kvothe's history. I was looking forward to slowly discovering Kote's secrets in glimpses rather than all at once...
OK, I take back that last comment. It's interesting to read about Kvothe the kid, knowing that he's going to grow up to be an extraordinary adult. And you're right - the troupe life sounds fun! I like that they portrayed it as very nurturing even though it's non-traditional. Plus it provides a lot of comic relief, which is always appreciated : )
