-Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
-Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (there is some language in this, for those who aren't comfortable with it)
-The Belgariad by David Eddings (not really a POPULAR book, really, but it's one of my favorites and not enough people have read it)
