Have you read the Jack and Susan books? Some of them are available through my points program at work.

The Amulet is my favorite McDowell book thus far.

I have the paperbacks of the Jack and Susan books but I haven't read them. I'm a fan of Felony & Mayhem (the press that reprinted them) so they are definitely worth checking out.

I read The Amulet years ago.

I was very impressed.
