100 Books Challenge discussion

For discussion of the book On the Road by Jack Kerouac

I've already started it as it came early from the library. Stalled on it while Izzy was with us for 8 days. I'm pooped, but what a wonderful time we had. I love summer!

Not crazy about the book so far.

Well for some reason I thought the book on the list was Cormac McCarthy's The Road ..... which I read ... S*I*G*H

Was probably better. I’m still struggling with it, but will finish.

Finally finished it by making myself read 5 pages a day. I do hate giving up on books. I can see why this one was considered so great in the ‘50s, but now it just seems tired & very dumb.
