Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up picking up The Hiding Place by David Bell. I looked for In The Woods but they were out and I already have Mr. Mercedes I will be reading next :)

I second Mr Mercedes

, Laline Paull definitely! I found this book 2 years ago and thought the premise just so intriguing. Then it sat on my TBR and I did not get to read it. I just ordered it tonight. My brother has Bee Hives and has explained the process of how the Bee world works. It is fascinating. So, to then make this an idea for a book with the bees as the central characters, I thought was so creative. Can’t wait to read this one.

Really enjoyed the book - has anyone read her new workook "The Pod"? This is on my TBR list
