Five Bubble Book Club discussion

I'm near 1/2 mark of the audiobook.
So far this book reminds me of a lot of things. Mad Max the movie, Fallout the video game...
One thing I kind of like about this book is that the author didn't even try to hint on what happened to the world. Which makes sense, because under the circumstance of a disaster in that scale, most of us, if lucky, would be merely a survivor without much clue.

I finished the audiobook today.
Kinda disappointed, the book left the characters exactly where they started. Meaning there is no growth or any kind of hope (I know it's kind of the point, but still). It feels like one of those TV shows that started with a good premise but fell flat.
