Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi, the author of The Good Teacher goes under R.M. Anderson but apparently also under Richard Anderson. He has just written his second novel Retribution and these are his only two works.

Just because an author's photo exists on a website does not mean you are able to add it to Goodreads. Only author photos where the copyright holder has given permission may be used here.

As far as the author profiles, we don't merge distinct pen-names. But I have separated both out from other authors with those names:

I have contacted Scribe and received an email from Danielle Bagnato confirming that it's fine to use this image on the author's GoodReads profile.

Good. But I doubt she wants her contact info listed publicly like that, so I have removed it. The copyright box is the place for listing permission, not this thread.

Hi Marianne,
these are auto-imports into Goodreads database.
The books are usually imported to the default profile and need to be moved manually.
I moved the book to the correct profile and combined with other editions.
