I just started tonight,i think i'm going to like this one.I haven't watched the movie in a long time,so i'm hoping i don't remember too much.
I was surprised to see a Nook version available. I just added my copy to the Nook but I have yet to wrap up Sparrow Rock. I'm at the half way point.
Hey guys and girls, sorry for not checking in sooner. I just wanted to give a heads-up! I started the book today, so I'll post my thoughts soon.
I finished the other day and really liked it.I loved the dark moody 1950s setting and wacky characters and although i mostly knew what was coming next having watched the movie several times, there were a few differences and also the extra detail in the book kept me interested until the end.
4 stars
hey guys and girls, I have been extremely busy and haven't had time to keep up with world wide web.
I'm half way into this book and I am enjoying it quite a bit. I agree with William that the fine details add layered ambience which the movie therefore lacks. I will try to wrap this up ASAP, but right now I have my main floor of my house gutted and in preparation for a complete over-haul.
