I'm from a rather small town called Grimstad, in the southernmost part of Norway.

I think we're one of the countries in Europe with the lowest population density. Also, every single major town is situated by the coast, so the interior parts of the country are virtually empty.
But that's also the beauty of it. I've visited a lot of countries in different parts of the world, and I've never seen anything more beautiful than the nature of central Norway. It's such an amazing feeling when you go into the mountains and you're able to see for miles and miles in any direction, but you can't spot any sign of civilisation anywhere.
I'm from the US of A. In Maryland to be precise. Nothing very fascinating about my state other than my proximity to Baltimore, Annapolis, and D.C. Best part is how much history surrounds the area - easily visit museums, historical sites like Williamsburg, Arlington, Gettysburg, and Mt. Vernon, and some good beach spots :)
I'm from Montana in the US. Known mostly for Glacier National Park (a little bit of Yellowstone National Park), our history (Henry Plummer anyone?), and much more :)
I am from Canada! And proud of that!
At least where I live in MD, and maybe it's because I've never lived anywhere else, it's rather blasé. You run out of things to do that can be reached in a limited time period ( my work week constantly changes - damn you shift work!)
I'm from the United States. Specifically, Connecticut.
