Thank you A&U... these are fabulous books coming up... definitely uncovered some new authors to me...The Anomaly and Hey Brother sound particularly interesting to me..I've entered for these :)
I'm really excited about Scrublands, having read a good review by one of the Gleebooks' booksellers, and also recently rediscovering the crime genre thanks to Jane Harper! I also loved The Mummy Bloggers, so keenly awaiting Holly Wainwright's next book... I've submitted my entry for these two books - thanks A&U!!!
Thank you Allen and Urwin. Hey Brother and 2028 looks interesting reading. Both books take me out of my genre comfort zone.
Thank you for this selection. I always look forward to your giveaways. I have read some wonderful books that I would never have tried because of it. I have started picking novels based on publishers now because of these giveaways. I have found that this publishing house has consistently published novels that I have really enjoyed.
Thank you for the heads up ; Scrublands sounds exciting. Recently I was looking at a review I wrote for a Chris Hammer book a while back and wondering why I had not read anything more from this author recently.
I love the cover of The Wolf Hour which is on my wish list. The Anomaly and Hey Brother also sound great. Thanks once again for the opportunity to read some new authors :)

Thank you so much to everyone who's been reading and reviewing our books, we hope through these giveaways you've discovered some authors and books you might not otherwise have found - and even better if you've unearthed some new favourites too!
First up, this one isn't through our usual system and closes on Tuesday 10 July so be quick if you want a new read which is sure to keep you up late. The Anomaly is an utterly gripping action adventure for fans of Michael Crichton, Indiana Jones & The X-Files which will leave you breathless until the final page… Enter here for this one: http://bit.ly/theanomaly
Onto the rest of our advance copies for August and September, where we've got some gripping debuts and some great entertainment, with something surely for everyone.
Our biggest thriller of the year Scrublands by Chris Hammer has been earning rave reviews from our staff and booksellers and here's your chance to get a hold of an early copy. Set in a fictional Riverina town at the height of a devastating drought, Scrublands opens with a charismatic and dedicated young priest calmly opening fire on his congregation, killing five parishioners before being shot dead himself, and our journalist protagonist Martin Scarsden arrives a year later to try and unravel the real reason behind this deadly rampage.
Shortlisted for the Vogel's Award in 2017, we're delighted to be publishing Jarrah Dundler's Hey Brother, a genuine and compellingly portrayed family drama of a tough kid from rural Australia whose world comes crashing down. Rohan Wilson is a fan, saying: "It's as wise and tender as any book I've read in years. Jarrah Dundler writes in unsentimental prose that heightens the book's sense of humour and builds pathos for its young hero. It kept me hooked for hours at a stretch."
Move over Shaun Micallef, in Ken Saunders' 2028 we've got a work of comic genius earning comparisons with Douglas Adams, and taking the mickey out of anything and everything to do with Australian politics. And let's face it, there's plenty of inspiration there! Outrageous, sharp and wickedly funny, 2028 takes us into the near future where the not very good political ideas around today have become ten years worse.
The Wolf Hour is a gripping thriller set in Africa about a young aid worker in danger and the lengths to which her family will go to save her. Edge-of-your-seat suspense combines with a compelling family drama in this story of power, greed and salvation.
Last but not least, more entertainment as The Mummy Bloggers author Holly Wainwright returns with another page-turning, rip-roaring story about mums, phones and the cult of self-improvement in How to Be Perfect - beautifully skewering the world of fake gurus, green smoothies and bad influencers.
You can learn more about all these books, and request one or many of them, over on our website: www.allenandunwin.com/aussie-readers.
Let us know if you're keen for any of these, and good luck!
