I don't want to delete this thread without first giving you a chance to edit it. If you'd like to ask for suggestions for witch-related historical fiction here that is fine, but simply posting to recommend a book belongs in the advertising section.

I would highly recommend Corrag by Susan Fletcher, which is set in late 17th century Scotland.

If we’re recommending historical fiction featuring witches, Daughters of the Witching Hill by Mary Sharratt is amazing.

I liked that one too.

Daughter of the Witching Hill sounds good. I've heard about the family in that book.

I also recommend Daughters of the Witching Hill. It's great!

The Mercies - it is about witch trials on a Norwegian Island in 1617 when most of the islands men were killed in a storm while fishing (not a spoiler). It is a great book but I found it hard going at times as it goes into detail about the witch trials.
