I don't want to delete this thread without first giving you a chance to edit it. If you'd like to ask for suggestions for witch-related historical fiction here that is fine, but simply posting to recommend a book belongs in the advertising section.

Alice Poon (alice_poon) I would highly recommend Corrag by Susan Fletcher, which is set in late 17th century Scotland.

I also recommend Daughters of the Witching Hill. It's great!

Emily Douce | 1 comments The Mercies - it is about witch trials on a Norwegian Island in 1617 when most of the islands men were killed in a storm while fishing (not a spoiler). It is a great book but I found it hard going at times as it goes into detail about the witch trials.
