Once again it is revealed that the Wyrdkeys themselves are not evil but rather it is the intent of the user that matters. What do you think of the falling out between Maeve, Brannon and Athril over their use?

Maeve wanted power and Brannon was protecting his people by hiding the Wyrdkeys. The falling out was bound to happen.
Yes, it was inevitable given Maeve's nature and her desire for power. It made me respect Brannon even more that he was willing to reject the power that the Wyrdkeys offer - it is like the elves and the One Ring in LOTR.
