"I feel like...I'm totally, completely and madly in love with you." he said honestly. That was his shortest answer. There were no words to describe how he felt about her. "Alice, you are my world and my world is you. Without you there is no world."
"And I will always be with you. Nothing and no one will ever separate us. Never...." with that he drifted off to sleep. Working in the fields all day exhausted him.
Rhys woke up the next morning. Alice was still in his arms cuddled close to him. He smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Its always a good morning with you here." he smiled. She looked better rested which made him happy.
"Funny how we always noticed each other when we were young but when we got older we didn't even remember. Don't you think?" he slowly got up.

"Its ok." he said in a low soft whisper that you could barely hear. Rhys got his clothes and went to take a bath.
He stopped halfway to the door. "I said its okay Alice. I know you didn't mean to." he told her as he sat down next to her and gave Alice a hug.
He smiled. "We should get going before Jeb sends a swat team looking for us."
In that moment Jeb opened the door. "What is Alice doing here?" he asked. He already guessed she was here but it still didn't make it right.

"That's right. And I as her boyfriend was comforting her." he lied smoothly.
"Sure..." he said. But Jeb knew they were lying. He didn't know how he knew he just did. "Anyways that's not the reason I came. I'm really busy today and two knew people came. I thought it couldn't hurt to relieve you two of your punishments for a day so that's why I'm here. Could you two show them around?" he asked. Rhys knew the cave well enough and Jeb always thought he worked too hard.

Rhys nodded in agreement. He was curious about the two new people.
"Thank ya. Its much appreciated. They are waiting in the hospital wing by the way. Also if you two are planning on sleeping in the same room please sleep on separate beds? It will make me feel better. Good day!" he tipped his hat and began whistling as he walked to do his own work.

Rhys laughed and kissed her. "I'll meet you in the hospital wing in a few minutes with the strangers ok? "
He smiled. "Not officially but yeah. Want me to make it official? I'll make it official." he said. He put his stuff on his bed for a moment and held her hands. Then he looked her straight in the eyes and said "Alice Matthew, would you like to go out with me?"
"And I never heard you say yes. Although it was always more than official in my own book." he kissed her back.
"I can't live without you either. But I still didn't hear that yes..." he smiled and kissed her tenderly. His lips soon traveled down to her neck than back up to her mouth.
Rhys pulled her closer. "I have a feeling we are supposed to be doing something but I just can't think straight when I'm with you. Could you remind me?" he said teasingly. But it was true that couldn't think straight with her around. Even when she wasn't around he can't think straight. All he ever thinks about is Alice since he met her.
"Fine." he rolled his eyes playfully and released her. Then he picked up his stuff and left to shower.
