ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments The room looks like any other normal classroom in any other school. Except the desks here are smaller, elementary school sized. And there may be sizeable holes in the floor, as well as windows fixated to the wall, and blood splattered across walls. And, in the corner, or other various places, staring up with lifeless eyes, is a corpse. A real, rotting corpse.

Cho was slumped in the corner, her arms wrapped around her body. Her tiny body easily fit into the corner of the room, all curled up without notice. She didn't know how long she had been in this place- it could have easily been hours. She dropped her head into her arms, biting her lip. It was such a rude trick for someone to play. They knew she didn't like horror. But, they left her in this haunted house- or whatever it was. She had yet to see any of her friends, or anyone else for that matter. Glancing up, she sighed. Cho always tried to stay strong, always tried to be brave- which often led her actions to contradict with what she was saying. If any of her friends saw her now, huddled in the corner by herself, she would never see the end of it.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena's eyes fluttered open and quickly adjusted to her surroundings. Her eyes, void of emotion studied the classroom and the many corpses and children desks that riddled the room. She slowly stood, taking some cinnamon sticks out of her bag and beginning to munch on them quietly as she stepped forward, starting to survey the room. She could feel a strong energy around here. A pull almost. Telling her to leave the room. She didn't know if she should follow it however, considering the pull was also a bit... sinister.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho's head shot up, her eyes locking on the girl that was in across the room. The sight of her, not having seen or heard the girl enter the room, made her yelp. She scrambled up, eyes wide as she pushed her back against the wall. She let out a little breath when she saw it was just another girl. "W-who're you?" She asked, trying to make her voice sound strong, but she wasn't sure it worked too well. When she had come in the room, there had been bodies on the floor, she had just assumed they were all props of some sort- she didn't think any of them would be an actual person.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Cho had definitely startled her. Mena was sort of easy to startle, even if she usually didn't show any sort of reaction towards it. "Mena." she said simply, holding a cinnamon stick out to her in hopes of appeasing her if she were the angry spirit that was beckoning her. She gazed around carefully, still not taking her main focus off of Cho though, as she really didn't feel like dying today, not without a full belly. She licked her lips, ridding them off the cinnamon.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho's eyes flicked down the cinnamon stick the girl held out. She wasn't going to take it, but as she eyed it, her stomach gave a a little grumble. She took it quietly, but didn't eat any of it yet. "I-I'm Cho." She said, blinking a couple of times. It was obvious the girl was still a little spooked- or possibly uneasy. "How did you get here?" She asked, her mind still holding on to the hope that this was a prank and not something actually serious. The thought of this not being a prank made her stomach drop. That would mean.. She glanced at one of the corpses, a sickening feeling rising in her throat. It was better not to think about it. "And where is here?" She muttered.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena nommed on another cinnamon stick as her eyes began to wander around the room. The corpses finally attracting her attention. She remained quiet for several minutes before averting her attention back to Cho, "I don't know. I was doing a game. And then I was here." she said, glanced around for her charm piece. Ah, there it was. She bent over and picked it up, tucking it into the back of her ID card.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho watched the girl carefully, tilting her head quietly. Her eyes followed the girl as she bent down to pick up a little scrap piece. Something about it seemed familiar. The Sachiko Charm- that was what she was doing before she came her. She glanced down at her own ID card, the littlw piece of paper tucked safely in the pocket. "The charm." she muttered, her heart sinking. "Did you do the charm too?" She had felt uneasy about the charm in the first place, but agreed to it none the less. Had the done the charm wrong? Or was this just some crazy nightmare.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments She nodded, "I did it wrong. Maybe this is punishment" she said. She herself strongly believed in the paranormal. She gave Cho a deadpan expression, "Did you do it wrong? How many people were with you?" she asked, never having seen the girl within her own class, it was rather unnerving to think this was a mere prank. Considering thatt the two were probably from entirely different schools.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments "T-there were six of us." Cho said, the cinnamon stick still clutched in her hands. She was beginning to think that this girl wasn't exactly the friendliest person she could run into, but it was a person, none the less. "And, no, I didn't do it wrong. Not that I know of, at least." She paused a moment, shifting her weight from foot to foot. "We don't go to the same school, do we?" She asked, although she already knew the answer. The two uniforms were entirely different- so, it was likely that they went to different schools. Then, what is this place, exactly? She asked herself with a rather confused expression.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments She glanced around, her blank eyes surveying the room carefully. She nodded, "It's ok if you didn't do it right. I was an idiot." she said monotonously, eating a cinnamon stick. Mena sighed quietly, "Alright. We'll just find our way out of here" she murmured as she walked up to one of the windows and tried to open it, tilting her head, "It wont open" she noted.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments "Hm?" Cho said, finally slipping the cinnamon stick into her bag. She thought it might be best to save it for later, if they really needed it. "What do you mean? It's a window. It should open." She said, walking up beside Mena, her eyes locked on the window. Despite her not being entirely strong in her rather small body, she gave the window a tug as well. It didn't budge. "That's weird. It's almost like it's just a decoration."

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments She nodded, jumping up and suddenly kicking it harshly. "Ouch." she said once she fell to the ground. She glanced down at her foot, stretching it out faintly. "Huh. It wont break either" she mumbled before standing up, eating a cinnamon stick, "I guess we're stuck here" she said, stepping forward and getting a better look at the room.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho winced when Mena's foot made contanct with the window, her eyes widening as she fell back on the floor. "That's so weird." She mumbled quietly, shaking her head. She turned on her heel, still glancing around the room they were in. She felt a pull towards the door, and she shuffled towards it quietly. Giving it a tug, it pulled open, revealing a long hallway. "Hey," she said, glancing at Mena with a surprised expression. Leaning out into the hallway, she glanced down, surveying it. Her stomach dropped, an uneasy chill spreading down her spine. Something didn't feel exactly right about the hallway, but they might have to go that way to get out. Cho glanced back over her shoulder. "Whaddaya think?"

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena gazed at her silently for a few moments before giving a long blink, "You feel it too huh? This place has a really bad energy. It's like... some really bad juju" she murmured, "I don't about going out there. I mean, it just feels wrong" she said, nomming on a cinnamon stick, pinning her pink hair up in a bun with a hair tie and chopsticks.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho nodded in agreement with Mena. This place just seemed like bad news. "Are we just supposed to sit here, then?" She said, backing up. "What if it's the only way out." She took a breath, then shook her head. Mena was probably right. Going out there right now didn't exactly seem like the best idea. "Alright," she said with a sigh. "We can wait until later." Stepping back from the door, she glanced around the room once more, her eyes catching on the corpses for a moment. "Do you think they're real?"

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena walked up to one of the bodies, collecting the ID card, "It's from a real school. I just don't know who this is..." she murmured, examining the body carefully, nodding, even though she was freaking out inside, "Yea... I think it's real" she muttered quietly, kicking it into one of the many hole in the floor in slight disgust.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho shivered, her hands shaking slightly. "O-oh, really?" She said, shaking her head quietly. How could Mena stay so calm while confirming that the corpse was a real person? Somewhere, this almost still seemed like a dream to her. It was all so impossible- a charm that took them to a world with real dead bodies. But, somewhere in the back of her mind, this didn't feel like a dream- it felt too real. "Who could have killed these people?" She asked, glancing down at another one slumped in the corner. It's skull was bashed in- a sight that made her sick to her stomach and her hands shake even more. "I mean, I don't think this one died of starvation."

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena swallowed her fear down, as well as her chewed up cinnamon stick. She gazed at it silently before looking away, "Neither do I" she agreed. She gazed out the hallway, "You hungry?" she asked Cho quietly.

message 20: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) Roxanne watched them silently for a moment, before approaching the two girls. She gave off no impression of being a spirit, keeping her unearthly glow in check.

She said nothing; waited for one of them to notice her sudden appearance.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho tilted her head at Mena. The real corpses in the room were enough to make Cho lose her apetite. "Not really," she mumbled. But, then again, she did want to keep her energy up. She dug in her bag for a moment, then pulled out the cinnamon stick Mena had given her earlier. "But, I have this." She snapped her bag shut and slung it over her shoulder. Her bag didn't have much else in it- most of the contents were probably scattered around her room. Then, something caught her attention out of the corner of her eye. Cho almost jumped out of her skin, backing up a step. Another person?

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena glanced back at the other girl emotionlessly. She didn't say anything. She took in the strange vibe the girl let off and bit her lip. She didn't like this. Whatever it was about the girl, she knew she did not like this.

message 23: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) They already didn't trust her; how funny. Roxanne didn't bother to smile either as she stepped closer. "I got separated from my sister," she told them softly, keeping her expression guarded. "I don't suppose you've seen her"

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho squinted at the new girl, stepping a little closer to Mena. She at least trusted Mena- she couldn't say the same for the new girl. There was something that was, well, off about her. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. "No, we haven't." She told her, narrowing her eyes at the girl. "We haven't even left this room." She said, trying to keep her voice from shaking. Now that she thought about it, she didn't even remember the new girl coming into the room- and she wasn't where a corpse once was.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena stared at her suspisciously, "What's going on here? Do you know where we are?" she said quietly, her eyes scanning the girl up and down rapidly as she stepped closer to Cho, stepping forward just a bit, to protect her if needed.

message 26: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) She tilted her head slightly to the side, eyes widening as she grinned. "What's wrong? You don't trust me? Come on, I'm just looking for my baby sister..."

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena stepped back, grabbing Cho's arm in the process. Mena didn't quite realize it, but Cho really reminded her of her late cousin, whom she'd do anything to protect at the time. Though the girl had gotten sick with some rare form of cancer. It was much to long ago for Mena to entirely recall. But she did indeed remember it, in some deep crevice of her subconscious.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho stumbled back, suprised when Mena grabbed her arm. Her eyes scanned the girl- or whatever she was carefully. "W-we don't know where your sister is." She told her, moving to stand beside Mena. This new presence seemed nice enough, but there was something about her- something Cho didn't quite trust. It was almost like the same feeling she had gotten when she had looked out into the hallway earlier. Just, a feeling that tingles down your spine, like a danger warning.

message 29: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) "Aww, are you sure? No little girls with white hair and dark skin? Barefooted, wearing a white dress?"

She bent down to the ground slowly, reaching into her boot. Completely diregarding her previous efforts to keep herself humanistic, her glow started up again.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments Mena stared at her blankly, "You're glowing" she said simply, not moving from her protective stance in front of Cho. She clenched her jaw, keeping herself from shivering in both confusion and fear. She had to lock away her feelings. Far, far away.

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments Cho narrowed her eyes at the other girl. She was glowing. So this girl was a ghost, or a spirit. Her hands shook a little, and she clamped them together to hopefully put it to a stop. She leaned forward slightly, ready to run if her and Mena saw the need to. What if they had upset the ghost? Was she going to hurt them? Gosh, Cho hated horror. It was bad enough seeing it in films, but in real life? Of course, the one thing that kept her from completely losing her edge was the blind hope that this was all some dream. Some nightmare she'd wake up from.

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) She laughed as she straightened again, tossing her blade from hand to hand. "Am I?" she teased. "I hadn't noticed."

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments She gazed at the blade, then back up at the girl. Her eyes reflecting no emotion from the experiencing. Just pure blankness. That held a faint sterness. "What do you want?" she asked calmly. Even though her heart was racing.

message 34: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne Shriver (roxannexshriver) "I told you, I'm looking for my little sister." Her eyes narrowed a little as she smiled thinly. "... And you two are going to help me find her. Right?"

ali ᵏᵉᵉᵖ ʸᵒᵘʳ ᵐᵒᵘᵗʰ ˢʰᵘᵗ (time_wont_fly) | 101 comments [Roxanne, make sure you have a paragraph for each of posts c: its not a big deal the first few times, but just make sure other ones are about a paragraph long.
And I don't know if they'd have a knife. Sachiko in the game had scissors, since the place was an elementary school, and it would be easier to find scissors there. But, I guess it works for now..]

Cho gazed down at the knife, her skin growing just a tad bit paler. The fact that the girl was a ghost made her uneasy, but the knife almost sent her off the edged. She eyed the ghost, taking a quick glance at Mena. Honestly, she wasn't sure of what to do. She sure didn't want to help the ghost, and for all they knew it could be a trap. However, if they didn't agree to help, that might give the ghost a reason to use the knife. And Cho definitely didn't want that happening.

The Outsider (Whales or Whatever) (davekatislife) | 196 comments "I don't know. Is your sister alive?" she replied simply, her eyebrows furrowing very faintly in an almost challenging matter. She tried her best to maintain her composure, but she knew she probably looked like she was faultering a bit, even being her.
