The Thief On The Cross... What Did He See?

Good stuff. It appears to me that there's a lot of symbolism in that event. The unrepentant thief represented the world, and the repentant one shows how Jesus forgives those who call on His name.
Wade wrote: "Good stuff. It appears to me that there's a lot of symbolism in that event. The unrepentant thief represented the world, and the repentant one shows how Jesus forgives those who call on His name."My response: Amen! I could not believe how much is contained in this short passage...
...one thief repents
...he rebukes the unrepentant thief
...he recognizes his own guilt (getting what he deserves)
...he states that Jesus is without guilt (done nothing wrong)
...he acknowledges that Jesus is God
...he tries to evangelize the other thief
...he acknowledges that Jesus is a King
...he knows that crucifixion is not the end for Jesus (when you come into your Kingdom)
...he essentially asks Jesus for forgiveness (remember me when you come into your Kingdom)
There is a lot there!
