Can Severus Snape ever be redeemed?
- The chapter “The Prince’s Tale” shows us Severus Snape’s life though his eyes. Does it portray him in a good light?
- What do you think of his “love” of Lily Evans?

Severus Snape can never be redeemed. His memories that Harry’s sees in the Pensieve make him seem nicer because all he wanted was to protect Harry, but Snape is still a bad man who bullies his students, makes some of them cry and scared of him, favores the slytherins and doesn’t recognize good students. Even though he wanted to protect Harry, he still was a Death Eater which he didn’t need to be and was always harsh and strict to Harry. He could’ve just been a nice and loving teacher, but instead he was strict, mean and a bully.
I understant his love for Lily. Lily was his first friend and he helped her with her magic, telling her she’s not a freak and that others are like her. he loved her so much, but didn’t do a good job of winning her heart. he was sorted into Slytherin which he couldn’t do anything about, but he surrounded himself with the wrong people. He started hangig out with bad people and became a Death Eater which Lily didn’t like. She didn’t like his behavior and in order to obtain his love, Snape could’ve and should’ve been and nice guy and not have turned to the dark side.
