Headmaster Yu couldn't resist putting one here. You can feed the koi from a bench, or the bridge that goes over it.

danica Silent. Dark. Invisible. All the things a shadow should be, more or less. They were also all of the things that Amira was currently. She had been throwing knives earlier all alone in the training room, since it was still fairly early, and eventually she got bored with that. She always did. Day in, day out, throwing knives, killing people. Meh. Well, really, she didn't get bored, more like a feeling of repetitiveness. I mean, don't get me wrong, she thought all of that was very interesting, it's just what she'd been doing her whole life.

So she decided to head outside, to the koi pond. It was still pretty early in the day, around 7 o'clock, when most were getting breakfast. Amira would do so eventually, but at this point she was just milling around the bridge near the koi pond.

However, she heard someone coming, and decided to put her hiding skills to good use. For practice, to scare the girl, whatever happened, she supposed. She climbed underneath the bridge, holding onto each side, her small body fitting perfectly straight across. She could hear footsteps above her, and knew the girl hadn't seen her.

Eventually the girl jumped into the pond right in front of Amira, so she decided to reveal herself. She removed her feet from the wood, hovering a few inches above the water. Clutching the side of the bridge, she silently lowered herself into the water without a sound. It was one of the shallower parts, so the water barely went a few inches over the boots of her "dress down" outfit.

She took a few shuffling steps forward, careful not to make the fish dart away, causing noises, and came to a stop a foot or two behind the girl. She slowly and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, assuming it would startle her. "Hello," she said cheerfully before the girl reacted.

Δ|вσω (( Okay! ))

Harper sat down next to the pond on the grass. She watched as the fish swam by and picked at the grass. Now she was in her uniform and was going on her way for a run. But, she decided against it. The sun was hot and a few birds were flying above head. Harper was tired since she was up studying late last night.

danica Amira let the grin fall from her face. "It wasn't for anything. Just wanted to say hello, I suppose. If you saw me coming out of my hiding place, then everything would be ridiculous, so I came out first. I didn't expect you to fall in, however. Sorry."

Amira held out a hand so she could pull the girl out of the water. She held her ground firmly, however, so the girl with the emerald eyes in front of her wouldn't try to pull her in next to her, since apparently that was common. In the media, anyway.

Δ|вσω Harper saw a dripping wet girl and silently laughed. " I guess it does," She agreed friendly. It was her nature to be friendly, but you know not always friendly - no one is always friendly. Since, Harper had no reason to be mean why should she? After all she was to worried wondering why the girl was swimming in the pond.

Δ|вσω (( Okay. ))

Harper smile at Emerald. " I'm Harper, like H-A-R-P-E-R." She mimicked. Her humorous comment wasn't met to be rude and hopefully it wasn't taken that way.

Δ|вσω " I wish," Harper replied. " My mom did though. She was wonderful at it. I mean, I played a little. I didn't sound any good though." She thought back to the day in the front hallway when the golden harp came in from france. Her mother played her 2 songs that day. She even let Harper try to pluck a few strings.

Δ|вσω " Don't we all?" Harper said jokingly. " Anyway, um- ya'know what happened? Why are you swimming in the pond? I'm pretty sure it isn't the pool?" Her grin widened into a dazzling smile.

Δ|вσω Harper couldn't help but hysterically laugh. " Then how can you go on missions?" She added over a laugh. " You are funny. Now what really happened?"

message 10: by Δ|вσω (new)

Δ|вσω " Not really." Harper replied. " Nice meeting you, Emerald. I've gotta go. The trails are waiting for me." With that she left and jogged over to the running trails.

danica Amira had already left in the midst of the two girls' conversation. Quiet as a shadow, and quick to leave like one. That's how she got her nickname, after all.

At this point she was heading to the dining hall, where she would finally have breakfast. She figured that after that she would just head to the training arena, perhaps spar a bit with someone.
