Ch. 2 (view spoiler)[ Was surprised this started out with Auburn being 15 yrs old. Having Adam die at a young age will definitely give her baggage. I love Owen already. He's adorable and I'm so fascinated to see what will happen between the two. The confessions are super interesting too! (hide spoiler)]

It drove me mad because funny thing was my husband and i were dating when we were 14 and 15 and our parents forced us to break up because we were "too serious" "too young" and "didn't know what love was" now here we are 28 and 29 and been married for 5 years now. So ignorant. lol

Sooo i am VERY delayed with beginning this book, but i am finally reading it and just finished Pt1!!

Ch 5 - (view spoiler)[ Ack! I am shipping Auburn and Owen so hard already! I love the idea of his art being based on anonymous confessions; that's pretty neat. I am wondering what his connection to Adam is. Oh, and Trey gives me the creeps. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 10 - (view spoiler)[ Oh man! I was wondering what those Sunday dinner things were all about. I can't believe Lydia treats her that way. How did she even get custody? - if it's a rich vs. poor thing, I'm going to be pissed. What will this mean for her and Owen? (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[ The ending wrapped up a little too quick for me. I liked the outcome, but I didn't like that Auburn had to stoop to blackmail to get her son back, AND I didn't like that Trey basically got away with what he did. I wish we got an epilogue a year later too. (hide spoiler)]

Prologue-Chapter 5
(view spoiler)[I feel like Owen is going to be a bit annoying with his artsy views. He didn’t like his last girlfriend starting with how she didn’t know what a palindrome was. However, I am interested in how he knows Auburn. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 6-10
(view spoiler)[Auburn has seemed a bit one dimensional so far, and Owen seems to have a lot of baggage. At least he doesn’t seem as annoying as he did at the beginning of the book, constantly looking into things too deeply and all. However, I feel like they are both really bad at communicating, which I feel like prevents any chance of them being together successfully.(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-14
(view spoiler)[Oh geez, this section explained a lot. Apparently Auburn had a child fathered by Adam at a young age, and her son is currently in the care of Adam’s mother. Now that Auburn is 21, why can she not fight for custody of her own child? Although, I feel like Lydia may not want to give up the child since he is the only piece of her son, Adam, left. Chapters 15-19
(view spoiler)[It is selfess of Owen to cover up for his father, but how could his dad let this happen? Why hasn’t he done anything to fix his mistakes? That makes me really upset of how self-centered he is, and how he just lets his son protect him.

Also, Trey is a jerk. I do not trust him at all. I feel like he is going to hurt Auburn. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I have only read two books by Colleen Hoover, but so far I haven’t really enjoyed either of them. Although, I definitely liked Ugly Love more than this book. I found the characters in Confess to be unlikable, and I didn’t really care about any of the relationships. There was never a moment when I was like, awww. Personally, I felt like the males were all a little controlling and sexist. (hide spoiler)]
