Ｔｈｅ Ａｌｐｈａ Ｕｎｉｔ Ｂａｓｅ~
-The Base is located in a top secret location in Montana.
-The Base has its own landing strip and airplane hanger
-Every employ lives on base and has their own apartment space (view spoiler)
-Has a large cafeteria like area where everyone eats together

Not only do soldiers work for the Unit, but some humans do too. Many humans are the soldier's doctors and scientists.

The Alpha Unit received many abilities after the ambush my the witches.
-Enhanced hearing, smell and eye sight
-Faster
-Stronger
-Fast Healing
-Each Soldier received their own unique ability also (a limit of one.)
Mating: Like most shifters, The Soldiers received the need to find their mates.
-Once a shifter comes in contact with their mate, they feel an intense attraction to them.
-When they make physical contact they can feel a sort of buzzing/sparks on their skin
-Once they have made physical contact with their true mate, they no longer have the ability to be intimate with anyone else.
-To complete the bond, the wolf shifter has to bite their mate. Many shifters fear biting their mate because there is a 50/50 chance their mate might turn also. Their biggest fear is that when they bite them, their mate may also go through the change. There is also a chance the mate may not survive the change.
Ｔｈｅ United States Government has always known about the existence of paranormals. They worked hard to create a treaty with them to insure that the human race never became aware of their existence. The rules of the treaty state that no paranormal could cause harm to any human, no paranormal could reveal themselves as supernatural and lastly no witchcraft or powers could be used in front of humans. The treaty worked for centuries and a majority of the supernatural community agreed to the terms of it. Of course there were always a few who disagreed with the contract, but the government always took care of them.
Over the past decade and half, more and more supernaturals have been fighting the rules of the treaty. The Government decided that it would be best if there was a top team of marines who's main job was to keep track of the paranormals and deal with them when they broke the laws. Thus creating The Alpha Pack.
Ｔｈｅ Directors of The Alpha Unit hand select the men and women who join the team. Each candidate is put through a series of test and trials before they are even told what they are training for. After the marines are tested and surveyed, they are asked to sign a NDA and are finally told what the job consists of. Marines who refuse to sign the agreement are asked to leave and those who break the NDA are prosecuted.
Ｅｉｇｈｔ Months ago while on a mission to extract witches from the Mountains of Colorado, the team was ambushed by the Coven. They came out of the trees chanting and holding hands. The team of marines automatically fell to their knees in pain, their bones crunching and contorting in odd angel. Their skin started to sprout fur and their feet and hands turned into paws. The witches cursed them and turned the team into wolf shifters. Each of the men passed out from the transition and the pain. Later waking up disoriented, in their human forms and naked. Even though they were once again human, they could feel the wolf inside of them.
Ｆｅａｒｉｎｇ that they change that was forced upon them would effect them as soldiers, they found that it actually enhanced their abilities. They became quicker, stronger and had better hearing/smell. The unit became stronger as a team, working as a pack. Each of the soldiers found their places in the pack. One instantly becoming alpha and another becoming the beta.
