darkwater prison is a large prison where only the baddest of the bad are sent. Darkwater is literally on its own island smack in the middle of Ionia. Prisoners are often sent from the kingdom's dungeons, where they are held until they are sentenced. Darkwater is rumored to be haunted, because of all the angry prisoners who have been sentenced to death. Prisoners are escorted to the island on a boat that his heavily guarded with prison guards. The only way off the island is to swim through dangerous waters. No one knows what lies beneath the water's surface, although there are rumors that sea monsters are lurking.
