(view spoiler)[ This lady is weird! I want to know why her family left, maybe because shes a little bonkers? I'm listening to this on audio and its kind of hard to keep up with the dates bouncing back and forth, its confusing. Hopefully it just stays in the present soon (hide spoiler)]

Chap 20
(view spoiler)[ I went from thinking she was kind of nuts to feeling sorry for her! She has to be so lonely, but I'm glad she is kind of friends with Jane now. It is creepy that she looks up all of her old patients online though, especially because they're young! I like that she still talks to Ed, I really want to know what is going on with them! Chap 50
(view spoiler)[ I really want to know if she is imagining the other Jane, or if she really did exist and is dead! It seems like it would be hard to get the kid to go along with this story, but maybe the Dad threatened him or something. I feel so bad for Anna that nobody believes her, I dont know if I do either though! (hide spoiler)]

Chap 54
(view spoiler)[ I am definitely getting the feeling that she cheated on Ed and that makes me like her less and feel less bad for her situation. I want to know the rest of the story with him. What is going on! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I thought a few times that Ethan wasnt what he seemed, but I never saw that coming! I can't believe he killed his real mother. Now I feel even more bad for Anna that no one ever believed her and she was right all along, she just had the wrong guy! (hide spoiler)]

A little early but I started this one today :)

First quarter - (view spoiler)[Anna's circumstances are so sad to read about, especially her distance from her husband and daughter. I cringed with her when her neighbour caught her snooping through her binoculars but it helped to bond the two of them. (hide spoiler)]

Second quarters - (view spoiler)[There is something I don't quite trust about Anna's online interactions. I feel she gave too much of herself away and although I can't exactly see how, I feel someone is going to use what they know about her for their own gain.

I also didn't trust Jane's supposed murder that she witnessed, which was disproven when she met the 'real' Jane, who bore no resemblance to the woman she had met previously met with. Was the first Jane the woman the real Jane's husband was having an affair with? I'm not sure but I do feel that Anna was meant to witness what she did to draw credibility away from her. Surely there is a reason they don't have curtains when they know their neighbour spies on them? Also, I understand that Anna is inconsistent with her medication and drinks far too much but is someone drugging her too, which could cause her slurred words and general haziness? (hide spoiler)]

Third quarter - (view spoiler)[I'm really hoping GrannyLizzie proves to be innocent as Anna seems to take such joy from helping her. I don't believe her though. She struggles with anything technical and doesn't truly understand anything about internet culture and then drops a 'btw' into conversation. Is she truly just learning?

Anna's affair with David came out of nowhere. I'm not trusting anyone at this point but least of all him when he still keeps a photo of her child on his walls. That is nothing but creepy! And then they slept together in HER DAUGHTER'S BED. What is his motive here? Anna mentioned that the room looks right into the Russell's bedroom. Is he helping them to set her up? (hide spoiler)]

Fourth quarter - (view spoiler)[As soon as we had the long flashback scene featuring the car crash I guessed that Anna's family had actually passed away. I also guessed she was having an affair and that was who was calling her when the car went over the barrier. It still felt like a blow to have it confirmed and I felt so sorry for Anna having to go through all that. Who could blame her for her agoraphobia, alcoholism, and supposed delusions? It wouldn't be a good thriller without something else going on as well though. (hide spoiler)]
